Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of interlaunch.org (the “Website”) and any services that Interlaunch (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides to you. By using the Website or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.

1. About us

Interlaunch is a software studio that designs, builds, and operates custom software platforms, applied AI, machine learning, and computer vision systems for businesses. Our principal place of business is 529 Isom Plyler Rd, Pageland, SC 29728. You can reach us at hello@interlaunch.org or +1 (615) 825-1004.

2. Using our website

You may use the Website only for lawful purposes, such as learning about our services and contacting us. You agree not to:

  • use the Website in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or any connected systems;
  • introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or interfere with the Website’s normal operation;
  • use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access or collect content from the Website without our written permission; or
  • submit false, misleading, or unlawful information through our contact form or any other channel.

We may suspend or restrict access to the Website at any time.

3. Our services

The Website describes the services we offer, including custom software engineering, applied AI systems, computer vision pipelines, machine learning platforms, cloud and data platforms, and MLOps. These descriptions are general information and are not an offer to provide services on specific terms.

Every client engagement is governed by a written agreement, such as a master services agreement, statement of work, or signed proposal (an “Engagement Agreement”), which sets out the scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees. If an Engagement Agreement conflicts with these Terms, the Engagement Agreement controls.

4. Proposals and engagements

Proposals and quotes are valid for the period stated on them. An engagement begins only when both parties sign an Engagement Agreement, or when you accept a proposal in writing and we confirm it. Changes to the scope of work must be agreed in writing and may change fees and timelines.

5. Fees, invoicing, and payment

Fees are set out in the applicable Engagement Agreement and may be fixed price, time and materials, or a recurring retainer. Unless the Engagement Agreement says otherwise:

  • we invoice in U.S. dollars, and invoices are due by the date stated on them;
  • payment is made by bank transfer or another payment method stated on the invoice;
  • fees do not include sales, use, or similar taxes, which you are responsible for (other than taxes on our income);
  • you must tell us in writing about any disputed invoice before its due date; and
  • we may pause work on overdue accounts after giving you written notice.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Because our services are custom work performed for each client, fees for work already performed are non-refundable. Either party may end an engagement as set out in the Engagement Agreement. If an engagement ends early, you pay for work performed and approved expenses incurred up to the termination date, and we refund any prepaid fees for work not yet performed, unless the Engagement Agreement says otherwise.

7. Your responsibilities

To help us deliver your project, you agree to:

  • provide accurate information, timely feedback, and access to the systems, data, and people we reasonably need;
  • make sure you have the rights and consents needed for any data, images, video, or other materials you give us, including personal data and footage of individuals; and
  • comply with the laws that apply to how you deploy and use what we deliver.

Delays caused by missing information or access may affect timelines and fees.

8. Intellectual property

The Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and design, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own reference, but you may not copy, modify, distribute, or reuse Website content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Ownership of the software, models, and other deliverables we create for you is set out in your Engagement Agreement. Unless it says otherwise, we keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks, and know-how, and grant you a license to use them as part of the deliverables.

9. Confidentiality

Each party will keep confidential any non-public business, technical, or financial information the other shares, and will use it only for the engagement. This does not apply to information that is public, already known to the receiving party, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law. A separate non-disclosure agreement or Engagement Agreement, if any, controls over this section.

10. Privacy and data

When you contact us through the Website, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, company, and message, and use it to respond to your inquiry and to provide our services. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as email and hosting providers, or when required by law.

When we process personal data on your behalf as part of an engagement, we do so only on your instructions and as set out in the Engagement Agreement. To ask about or delete the information we hold about you, email hello@interlaunch.org.

11. AI and machine learning systems

Many of our deliverables use machine learning and AI models. These systems produce probabilistic outputs that can be wrong or incomplete, and their accuracy can change as the data they receive changes. Performance measured during development or testing does not guarantee the same performance in production. You are responsible for deciding how AI outputs are used in your business, including keeping appropriate human review for decisions that affect people’s safety, health, legal rights, or finances.

12. Third-party services and links

The Website and our deliverables may include or link to third-party websites, software, cloud platforms, open-source components, or APIs. We are not responsible for third-party content or services, which are governed by their own terms. Where a deliverable relies on third-party services, you are responsible for their fees and for complying with their terms, unless the Engagement Agreement says otherwise.

13. Disclaimers

The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” for general information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The only warranties for our services are those stated in the Engagement Agreement.

Case studies, metrics, and testimonials on the Website describe past results and do not guarantee similar results for your project.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to the Website or our services, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the fees you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim arose. For claims related only to use of the Website, our total liability is limited to US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Interlaunch and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or materials, data, or instructions you provide to us that infringe a third party’s rights or violate the law.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other in writing and negotiating in good faith for at least 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved, it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Changes apply from the date they are posted and do not affect Engagement Agreements already signed. If you keep using the Website after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.

18. General

These Terms, together with any Engagement Agreement, are the entire agreement between you and us about their subject matter. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
